2016 Pasta Dinner & Chinese Auction

A record-number of people, (approximately 410), attended the 18th Annual Pasta Dinner & Chinese Auction supporting The Life Center of Long Island’s four pregnancy care centers known as “AAA Pregnancy Options” this past Sunday, April 10, 2016. The event was hosted and organized by The Knights of Columbus Councils of the 8th New York District. It was held at Our Lady of Grace Church in West Babylon. The Life Center organized and assembled  59 donated chinese auction baskets, as well as a dozen grand prizes that included Mets and Yankees tickets and the latest in electronics. The event was supported by generous donations from local Suffolk County and Nassau County business owners. Guest speaker Al Barbarino spoke about the importance of pregnancy care centers in counteracting a “culture of death” that exists in our society. The knights cooked penne pasta with three choices of sauces for attendees who also enjoyed a side salad, drinks, coffee and dessert. Panera Bread donated bread to the meal. A wonderful time was had by all. For more information about The Life Center of Long Island click here.
